They’re simply great, dearie. I love the game, but its menus and inventory system need some work. Nintendo is responsible for far more interesting kangaroos over the years, so it’s a shame they aren’t all that interesting.
Also, Ganon (along with Medli) is irrefutably the best amiibo villager in New Leaf—let’s hope they patch those in at some point.
Why can’t I have the option to sit down with these animals and break the news that “you’re just not Hyrule material, sorry champ.” The worst part is trying to convince a visiting animal at the campsite to stay at my town, only for some other jerk to claim the plot of land I want to reserve for this new good villager.
I remember when the first Animal Crossing game was announced for Nintendo 64 almost 20 years ago. The designers clearly weren’t taking it too seriously on these rabbits, and an island wouldn’t be complete without a town weirdo.

I’m taking a much more peaceful approach to deal with my own problem villagers, instead opting to ignore them for days on end until they get the message (still working on this with Claude the rabbit, he just can’t take a hint). Nintendo did an absolute injustice to everyone’s favorite waterfowl. They didn’t milk the refinement of the unassuming cow for all it’s worth, that’s for sure.
I suck at this stuff but I’m looking forward to trying my hand at it, but I really love seeing what everyone else makes.
I have to shout her out just for that. These hulking teddy bears are very cute, even when they’re a little gruff, with Pinky and Chow rounding out the list as pandas. In the end, Chicago wins.
