Death of Pepe In the beginning I was feeling like I wasn’t cool enough to get it, but by the end... feels good, man. The problem with Pepe is that he's been stamped a hate symbol by politicians, hate groups, institutions, the media and, because of them, your mom. Most of their spare time is spent partying, smoking marijuana, eating junk food, surfing the Internet, playing pranks and/or video games and holding intense but banal discussions about trivial topics. That whole bit where landwolf whips his dong around in front of a strobe light cause his pals are stoned on the couch is a total A+ moment. And since there's no cohesion (it feels like it came out of a fictional Hipster printed magazine/newspaper) it's just a ton of (at times not so) funny skits. Reading this brought to mind some weird mix of my friends who were really into Workaholics in high school and my other friends that watched and quoted The Regular Show all the time. Others were more disturbing because they came across as genuine endorsements of white nationalism, racism and the extreme right.
